Ms. Wanda Scaff, age, 94 of San Marcos, Texas has passed away peacefully in her sleep while residing at Cypress Hill Nursing Home on August 24, 2020 at 3:24 A.M., just hours after her son, granddaughter and great-grandson had come to visit on Sunday August 23, 2020. Due to the pandemic, it was at least 3 or 4 months that no one could enter the nursing home to visit, causing the process to go faster. She suffered from dementia that didn’t allow for her to remember much, but she knew in her heart how much we love her!
Wanda is survived by her son Jerry Scaff, Cresta and Ben Quinones, (granddaughter and husband), Teryn Scaff, (grandson), Jeff Scaff, (grandson) and children, Bob Baldree, (brother) and children, Kenneth Baldree, (brother) and children.
She was a faithful member of Church of Christ in Salado, Texas. She loved doing crossword puzzles, trips to the mountains, and spending time with her family and friends of the church and close relatives.
We will never forget the many smiles and hugs and will carry on her memories forever and ever until we meet again.
She was such an amazing soul and wonderful person and we will never forget one the many famous quotes that she lived by, “I want to live on the side of the road and be a friend to man.”
There will be a short service at Salado Church of Christ on Sunday September 6th at 1:00 P.M.
Condolences may be sent to the family online at Legends funeral home, San Marcos, Texas.
