Verona possessed a keen eye for juxtapositions and oddities. She embraced laughter and often found amusement in the subtleties of everyday situations.

Verona's unwavering love for her family remained her top priority. At her mother's request, Verona relocated both of them to the tranquil embrace of Canyon Lake, Texas, ensuring their well-being and happiness.

Verona's nurturing spirit extended beyond her immediate family. She shared her creative talents with the world, finding solace in quilting, cross-stitching, and knitting. As a mother, Verona exuded encouragement and thoughtfulness in her every word and action. She instilled in her children the importance of self-awareness, empowerment, and the ability to find humor in life’s trials. Verona's resilient spirit shone brightly, teaching her children to rise stronger from any setback, to lift themselves up, and to persevere with unwavering determination. Verona now joins her loved ones who have preceded her in death. She is reunited with her beloved father, Roger Aubry Ennis, and her cherished mother, Georgia Nell Black Ennis. Her many pets Emma, Buddy, big and little kitty just to name a few. Verona's siblings, her dear big brother, John M Ennis, and beloved sweet sister, Dale Elaine Rasco, accompany her in spirit as they continue their journey in this world.

Left to cherish Verona's memory are her children, Lydia Beck (Tom) and Roger Smith, and Granddaughter Ashley Hammond (Brian) who will forever hold her love close to their hearts.
