Timothy "Tim" Underwood

    Timothy “Tim” Underwood, 45, died on Friday, May 13th, 2022 in his San Antonio home with his family by his side. Tim was born on July 6th, 1976 in Vernon, Alabama to Connie and Paula Underwood, but always considered Big Spring, Texas his home. 

    Tim loved his family. He was a bass player for Hawg Legg Band for 11 years. Tim was in high school band, but he did not learn to read music. He could listen to a song one time, then play it. He could play along with a new band without error. In 2021, Tim graduated from Howard County College, on the dean’s list, with an Associates degree in applied science. 

    Tim married Angela Underwood on September 11th, 2013. They were blessed with two daughters. Timi Jean Underwood, 8, and Hailey Thompson, 20, of Colorado, and a son, Ezra Underwood, 22, of Washington State. 

    Tim is survived by his children, Ezra, Hailey, and Timi, his wife Angela, his mother Paula Underwood (Big Spring, Tx), his sisters, Kandra Brazil-Blair (Buchanan Dam), Sheila Travis Burch, and May Ellis (Big Spring, Tx).

    Tim is preceded in death by his father Connie Underwood, his cousin Paul Holmes, his brother-in-law Paul Brazil, and brother-in-law Jerry Ellis.

    Tim will be remembered by his kind, loving heart. He loved to ride motorcycles and spend quality time with his family and friends. 

A private memorial will be held on June 4th, 2022 in Big Spring, Tx.
