Sylvia Ann Martinez

Sylvia Ann Martinez, 64, resident of San Marcos, Texas went peacefully on May 10, 2021 with her family by her side. 

Sylvia was born on November 4,1956 a lifelong resident of San Marcos, Texas. She worked at Marshall Gas for over 15 years, she also worked for CFAN for over 10 years. Sylvia loved to watch baseball and softball especially when it came to her grandchildren’s baseball and softball games. She loved spending time with her family and friends. 

Sylvia is preceded in death by her parents Jose T. Sanchez and Eusebia P. Sanchez.  She survived by her husband Gilbert Martinez, Sr. of 47 years , children Tammy Ferrel , Gilbert Martinez ,Jr. (Rhonda) , Gary Martinez (Natalie) all of San Marcos, Texas. Grandchildren: Gavin, Andrew, Mikaela, Madalyn, Ally, Brandon, Erick, Devyn, Emmy, Tate, Gabriel, Grayden, two great grandchildren. Also survived by her siblings Jose, Ray, Ernest, Sam, Yolanda and numerous nieces & nephews.  

A viewing will be held on May 19, 2021 from 6:00-8:00 pm with a prayer service beginning at 7:00pm at Legends Funeral Home 101- A Centerpoint Rd.  San Marcos Texas 78666.
