Rupert "Roo" Ellis Obituary

Rupert “Roo” Frederick Jude Ellis

Rupert Ellis passed from this life on January 23, 2022, at his home in San Marcos Texas.
He was born July 2, 1964, in Great Yarmouth England, the beloved Son of Brian William Ellis and Dawn (Cook)
Day.

Rupert ran a business called The Hunting Agency in England and this business allowed him to travel all over the
world making friends and creating memories that most of us only dream of.
In 2012, he would meet his future wife, Misty, online. They chatted as friends for a year and on February 14,
2014, Rupert came to America and married her. They would have celebrated 8 years of marriage on Valentine’s
Day 2022.

Rupert ran a business in Texas for several years called Tackleberry’s. Your friendly neighborhood gun shop. He
met so many wonderful friends through his business and to him that was the greatest part of it. The amazing
people and community that he came to call family.
More recently, Rupert began his own landscaping business called Texas Garden. And in no time, built up a
wonderful clientele. He took great pride in his work and enjoyed being outdoors and seeing those wonderful
moments in nature that most of us would miss.
Rupert was predeceased by his Father, Brian Ellis, and many other family members, close friends and loved
ones.

Surviving members of his family include, his wife, Misty (Huggins) Ellis. His Mother, Dawn Mildred Jean
(Cook) Day. His Stepfather, John Day. His Brother, Roger Ellis-Belwood. His Sister-in-Law, Claire Belwood. His
Nephew, Oliver Ellis Belwood. His Mother-in-Law, LaDonna Huggins. His Father-in-Law, Harley Huggins. His
Stepsisters, Elizabeth Day and Angela Bliss. His Aunts, Margaret Ellis and Auntie Joan. His Cousins, David Ellis,

www.britishlegion.org.uk, The Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) at rnli.org, or to your local animal
shelter.

He may be gone from our sight, but never from our hearts. The world lost a beautiful, funny, cheeky, loving,
intelligent, creative, adventurous Soul, but he is no longer in our past, he is in our future. And we will see him
again and be with him and get to hold him close and love him, again. Until next time, Our beloved Rupert. Until
next time.
Godspeed.
