Robert George Shawn passed away peacefully and entered into eternity 11/24/2023 in New Braunfels, Tx. Bob was born to Robert Shawn and Jean Miner Shawn on 01/28/1959 in Westerly, RI. He was 64 yrs old. Bob is preceded in death by his wife Sabra Webster Shawn, his parents Robert and Jean Shawn, and sister Sharon Shawn Aldridge.
He is survived by his Son Robert George Shawn II and wife Denise, Grandchildren Carlos, Miranda, Rylie. Siblings Russell Shawn (Laurel), Sylvia Shawn McDonald (John), Sandra Shawn Buxton (Terry), Randy Shawn (Melanie), Sean Shawn, Rhonda Shawn (Russ Schwarzlose), 17 nieces and nephews, 21 great nieces and nephews. Bob loved to play the drums and cook great food. Along with writing poems and exploring his talent in aspiring to be a screen writer, he loved to tell stories, and he loved people in general. He volunteered his free time to good causes. The achievement he was most proud of was the creation the Southern Nevada Transit Coalition.
