Patricia Polzin Obituary

It is with great sadness that the family and friends mourn the passing of Patricia Ann Polzin. Patricia Ann Polzin (Patsy) was born to Arthur and Ethel Talley on August 31st 1937 in Appalachia, West Virginia. Patsy died tragically in a car accident on April 5th 2016. Patsy's son Doug Polzin tragically died with Patsy in the same car accident. Patsy is survived by her Daughter Victoria L. French, Son in Law Patrick O'Connell, Sister Dorothy Corlett, Daughter in Law Leticia Polzin, and Grandsons Javier and Jorge. Patsy was married to Earl A. Polzin who proceeded her in death in 1993. Patsy was also preceded in death by her sister Dolly Abalos. Earl was a fighter pilot in the United States Air Force, so Patsy, Earl, Doug and Victoria lived a life of adventure living in Japan, Taiwan, The Philippines, New Jersey, Oklahoma and numerous other bases. Earl and Patsy eventually retired to Dawson, Texas. Patsy would always talk about all the exciting adventures they had living overseas and all the entertaining she would do as an officer's wife in the Air Force. After Earl's passing Patsy moved to San Marcos, Texas where she designed her dream home had Douglas build it for her. Patsy loved getting up in the morning sitting on the back deck with her dogs, drinking coffee and watching and feeding the deer, birds and squirrels. She also loved to entertain on her back deck where friends and family would BBQ, sit for hours and late into the night talking, debating politics, laughing and loving all of Patsy's wonderful and entertaining stories. She loved having young people around her, Patsy's house was always a warm welcoming place where people gathered and enjoyed each other's company and her companionship. Like her husband Earl, Patsy always loved a great conversation and a good debate. Patsy will be missed tremendously by her family and friends. A visitation will be held at The Hill Country Event Center, 107 Centerpoint Rd. in San Marcos, Texas on April 13th from 12:30-1:30 pm with funeral services following at 1:30 pm.
