Nelfa S. (Samaniego) Vasquez

Nelfa Samaniego Vasquez, a resident of San Marcos, TX, was called to her eternal rest to be with our Heavenly Father on June 21, 2021 at the age of 74. She is preceded in death by her husband of 40 years Charles H. Vasquez Sr., her parents, Carlos and Eva Samaniego, sister Nelda Capetillo, brother Elias Samaniego and son in law Jesse Cervantes. Survivors include a daughter Carmen Cervantes of San Marcos; her two sons, Leo Vasquez and wife Juanita of San Marcos and Charles H. Vasquez Jr. of San Marcos; her granddaughters, Marie, April, Brittany, Genesis, Isabel, Areanna, Alexis, Ambria; and one grandson, Anthony, all of San Marcos and 6 great grandchildren. She is also survived by two brothers, Misael Samaniego of Schertz, TX and Elisardo “Lalo” Samaniego of Seguin, TX and a sister Diana Samaniego of San Marcos, TX. A memorial service will be held at Memorial Presbyterian Church in San Marcos on July 10, 2021 at 11A.M. A private burial for immediate family will proceed at a later date.
