Mary Jeffie Airheart Clark

Mary Jeffie Airheart Clark was called to Heaven on Saturday March 20th.  She joins her Lord, her husband, Floyd Clark, a Daughter Karon Gatlin, a Son, Dennis Noel Clark, her Mother, Fannie Mae Airheart and father, Thurman Airheart, her two Brothers Billy Airheart and James Airhart and Sister, Elizabeth Clark and many Aunts, Uncles and Friends.  

Mary was born November 29, 1930 in Kemp, Texas. (The old country doctor who delivered her got her birthdate wrong on the birth certificate, so she went through life using November 11, 1930 as her official birthdate.  She would laugh and say, “I’m lucky, I get to celebrate 2 birthdays without getting any older!”  She married at 16 and started a family.  She moved, alongside her husband, from the area of her birth to Dallas in the early 50s where they raised 6 children.  She and her Sister, Elizabeth married twin brothers (Floyd and Lloyd Clark) and raised their children as neighbors in the Washington Street Housing Community for many years.  She retired from Neiman Marcos Service Center in 1992 where she had worked 20 plus years.  She moved to San Marcos, TX in 2012.

Mary is survived by Daughters, Joyce Tidwell of San Marcos, Janet England of Mesquite, TX and Donna Clark of San Marcos TX, a Son, Larry Clark of Kaufman, TX.  

Mary had 10 Grandchildren Kim Pyle, Vicki Poe, Geoffrey Tidwell, Angie Chandler, Brandy Gatlin, Joshua Gatlin, Dennis Clark Jr., Tish Clark, Jack Clark and Ryan Clark.

She had 10 Great Grandchildren, Tabatha Pyle, Alan Biggs, Liam Tidwell, Taylor Chandler, Zayne Millsap, Jacob Joyner, Lillee Gatlin, Ryder Clark, Easton Clark and Landon Clark.

Her long life allowed her to celebrate 5 generations multiple times.  Her Great-Great Grandchildren include Mesiyah Jackson, Baylor Biggs, Blakely Biggs and Luke Laughlin.
