Maria Hernandez

Maria Hernandez, age 65, passed away on December 12, 2020 with her family by her side. Maria was born in Corpus Christi, Texas on Oct 2, 1955. 

Maria is survived by her husband Felipe Hernandez and her four children; Rene Moreno (Monica); Faith Miller (Thomas); Regina Lara (Albert); Felipe Hernandez Jr. (Nichole). Her sisters Elisa Moreno, Carmen Hernandez, Linda Estrada (Leon), Connie Rodriguez (Frank); 13 grandchildren Adryen Lara, Aza Lara, Jhonathan Henandez, Aleczander Lara, Jason Hammond, Marissa Hernandez, Alexia Hernandez, Diego Moreno, Friday Lara, Destiny Miller, Heavenly Hernandez, Hazel Hernandez and Felipe Hernandez III. One great-grandchild Asiah Lara and many beloved cousins, nieces and nephews and friends.

Maria is proceeded in death by her father Regino Moreno, mother Petra Moreno, sister Rosa Polendo, brothers Ignacio Moreno Sr., Manuel Moreno Sr., Mario Moreno.

Felipe and Maria were married by church on March 6, 1982 in Corpus Christi, Texas. Maria raised her children in Corpus Christi then later moved to Amarillo. Maria was loved by so many people because she was fearless, adventurous, outgoing and always kept it real with everyone she met. She loved to travel, sew, the ocean, taking pictures, dancing, listening to music, praying for her family, spending time with all her grandchildren, football,  celebrating the holidays and summers with her family but most importantly God. So now she is flying “HIGH” with the angels……
