Lee O Meinen

Lee Meinen passed away on Jan. 13, 2021, in Wimberley, Texas, at the age of 88. He was born in Round Rock, Texas and moved with his family to McAllen ,Texas in 1949. After his release from the Army; he worked in the oilfield for many years. In 1972, he became owner /operator of K & L. Truck Rental Co. He retired in 1995; and in 2013 moved to Wimberley to be close to his children. He is preceded in death by His father J.H. Meinen, his mother, Vio Meinen, 2 brothers (Charles Meinen and Edward Meinen) and 3 sisters (Marie Morasch, Louise Buehler and Ruby Bowen), and one son, Kevin Meinen. He leaves behind his wife of 64 years, Katherine (Kay), his daughter Vicky Underwood of Wimberley, 2 sons, Toby Meinen of Driftwood, TX. and Mark Meinen of Wimberley, TX, 3 grandchildren (Major Rowdy Meinen, USMC, stationed at Naval Air Station Corpus Christi, Corpus Christi, TX., Ashley Meinen, of North Austin, TX., Chelsea Meinen, of Phoenix, AZ), 4 step-grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and 5 step-great grandchildren.
