Kazue Sueto Durham
Daughter of Tomoichi and Wyae Sueto was born May 14, 1933 in Takeo, Saga Ken Prefecture, Kyushu Japan. She passed from this life Thursday, August 13, 2020 at her home in Cibolo, Texas at the age of 87 years.
Kazue came to the United States and obtained her US Citizenship on December 2nd, 1970. Kazue was very proud of this achievement and displayed her Certificate of Naturalization.
She was employed at Blue Star/ConAgra and retired after 20 years of employment in 1998. Kazue enjoyed vegetable and flower gardening, taking care of her beloved pets but all most of all spending time with her family at her long time home in Council Bluffs, Iowa. She lived a simple life and took great pride in the ability to purchase and maintain her home. She was very strong in her Buddhist faith, attending prayer sessions as frequently as possible.
Kazue was one of six children in Takeo Japan. Unfortunately specifics of her family are limited due to the distance between countries and cultural differences. She is survived by her daughters, Christina Durham Green and husband Mark Daniel Green of Cibolo, Texas, and Jeanette Kay and husband Kurtis Allen Kent, Hebron, Nebraska; grandchildren Lauren Hiebel, Taylor Hiebel, Kassandra Kent; great-granddaughter Abigail Rule.
