Katherine Toomey

Katherine Sue Toomey (Bell), 66, of New Braunfels, Texas, has gone to meet her heavenly resting place to join her husband, Robert Patrick Toomey.  She is preceded in death by her father, John Bell, her husband, Robert Toomey, and her sister and brother, Carol Bell Sargent and John Richard Bell. Katherine was born in Akron, Ohio, to John Bell and Loretta Todd (Bell) Sparks.  Katherine graduated high school in 1977 and then moved to Akron, Ohio, to pursue her passion as a hairstylist.  After marriage, Katherine devoted her life to her husband and children by volunteering at schools and non-profit agencies and working for her family. Katherine made it her life’s work to serve others and was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother. Katherine was surrounded by her children and grandchildren and passed peacefully after a brief illness. She is survived in death by her children Heather Toomey-Kaluzny, Derek Toomey, Kirsten and Kaitlin Toomey of New Braunfels and her sisters and brother Lizabeth Baxley, Pamela Bell and Todd Harden of Lakeland, Florida, and numerous grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.  Please join the family for a Celebration of Life on 01/04/2023 at 6:30 at 2284 Hawk Dr, New Braunfels, TX 78130.  Please donate to the gofund me, in lieu of flowers!
