Karl Eric Richart

Karl Eric Richart, 67, of Wimberley, passed away peacefully holding his wife's hand on April 5, 2021.  
He was born on Thanksgiving Day, November 25, 1953 in Lake Jackson, Texas to Elbert and Nora Riggs.  He was later adopted by his stepdad Paul Richart.  He served in the US Army and spent a lot of time in Korea.  

He is survived by his wife, Debbie Richart; his five children Shannon Palmer and husband Jon, Heather Farris and husband Jason, Michelle Murray, Anthony Richart and wife Tarah, and Sara Richart.  He had 8 grandchildren that he adored.  He is also survived by his mother, Nora Richart; brother Nathan Riggs and wife Robin; sister Sonya Duron; sister-in-law Lorre Riggs; sister Marie Meyers; sister Robin Munoz; and brother Thomas Richart.

He is preceded in death by his father Elbert Riggs, stepdad Paul Richart, his twin brother, Jon Kirk Riggs, and brother-in-law Randy Meyers.

A memorial service will be held on April 8 at 10 a.m. at 1 Limestone Trail under the oak trees.
