Karen Sheridan Obituary

Until We Meet Again...

We think about you always.

We talk about you still.

You have never been forgotten.

And you never will.

We hold you close within our hearts.

And there you will remain,

To walk and guide us through our lives,

Until we meet again.

Jerry Seinfeld once said a human’s number one fear is public speaking.  The 2nd is death.  Seriously?  Being in the Urn is scarier.  Mom would have laughed at that one. There wasn’t a person alive she couldn’t make conversation with.

Karen Ann Sheridan was born January 12, 1949, in New York City, NY, to John and Mary Keen.  She left us February 16, 2021 and is now hanging out with Pop-Pop.  She is survived by her children, Dawn Sheridan-Reinhuber, her husband Joachim and three children, Daniel, Noah and Emma.  Her daughter, Jodi Sheridan, and her two children Aiden and Ryan, her son Billy Sheridan, her sister Robin Ward, and her children Jennifer and John.

Mom was the best of all of us.  She knew how to give the perfect hug, find the good in everyone she met, and remind us that you can’t have a birthday without a birthday cake.  She taught us how to love, how not to take things too seriously, and how to pretty cry.  Never one to shy away from a great song, she would have a mini dance party regardless of location or presence of others.  Mom could squeeze the last drop of love from the day and spread it over everyone she loved.  She was gifted that way.

We love you.  We miss you.  You’re welcome to dance it out with Mr. Jones and me anytime you want.
