Eddie Cardenas

Edmundo (Eddie) Cardenas, Jr., 87, of San Antonio, Texas passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 30, 2023. Born on February 6, 1936, in San Antonio, Texas to Edmundo, Sr. and Francis Urdiales-Cardenas, Eddie was a loving husband, a devoted father, and an adoring grandfather.

He was preceded to his final resting place by his parents and his brothers, P. Gus and Arthur Cardenas. Eddie was survived by his wife of 67 years, Ana Maria Flores Cardenas and his children, Edmundo (Eddie) Cardenas III, Judith Cardenas-Rochon, son-in-law Bernard, Daniel Cardenas, daughter-in-law Veronica, and Joseph Cardenas, daughter in-law Phyllis. Eddie had three granddaughters whom he cherished, Montana (22), Summer (20), Hannah (18) and a number of nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at Lion of Judah Christian Church, 826 W Mayfield Blvd, San Antonio, Texas 78211 on July 5, 2023, at 4:00 PM.
