David Dorje Spragens

David Dorje Spragens, beloved friend and brother, unexpectedly passed away on January 28 th , 2022, at
the age of 44. He was the youngest of 4 and always had a little something extra to get the attention of
those around him. His friendliness and easy-going personality allowed him to find conversation and
community wherever he went. As a professionally trained chef, master auto/semi-truck mechanic,
master pipefitter and artist you could only call David Dorje a renaissance man. He was a deeply devoted
practitioner of the Tibetan Buddhist Mahayana tradition. His deep compassion for the human condition
allowed him to love without reserve and give of himself without hesitation. We lost a truly unique soul
who touched many people and will be deeply missed. David Dorje never liked being the center of
attention and as such, his family will not hold services. Anyone who wishes to celebrate David Dorje
