Constance Nevue Obituary

After a long battle with Alzheimers, Connie has been called home to sit with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Connie was born on Oct. 14th 1947, in Ft. Jackson South Carolina to her parents John and Charlotte Walsh. After finishing High School she enlisted in the United States Army, as a Medical Assistant. After her military service she was married and had her first Son, John “ Jack”. Later, she was remarried to James A. Nevue, and gave birth to her 2 Sons, Jimmy and David.

Throughout her life, Connie worked as a Medical Transcriptionist, sometimes working 3 jobs to help ends meet. Mom had a love for life which she lived on her terms with no regrets. She had never met a stranger and would’ve given the shirt off of her back to make sure to make sure you wouldn’t go without. Connie was a natural giver and loved being able to help ease someone else’s troubles by helping wherever she could.

At the time of Connie’s passing she was a resident of the Cypress Nursing home in San Marcos Tx. She was surrounded by members of her immediate family and friends. Connie was preceded in death by her Husband James A Nevue Sr, her Father John Walsh, her Mother Charlotte and Step Father Bill Copley.

She is survived by her Sister’s Patty Nickerson and Elizabeth Copley, her Brother Mark Walsh, her 3 sons Jack, Jimmy and David. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews, her many grandchildren and her Daughter In Laws Kristy and Danielle.

Services will be held on Nov. 5th at 8:45am at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery, Shelter #4
