Casey Jonathan Perdomo, age 37, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 16th, 2022, surrounded by family and friends in San Antonio, Texas. His mom Flor Machado, His wife, Krystal R. Perdomo, and by his daughters, Kierra, Athena, and Casey Jr. He is also survived by a large extended family and friends from Texas and around the United States. Casey touched soo many lives, he truly had a heart of gold, and was always there for everyone. His absence is truly noticed and deeply missed. Anyone that knew him knew how great of a man he was and never had anything negative to say about him. He truly was one of a kind.
Casey was born in Houston, Texas on July 18, 1984. While growing up, Casey developed his love to work on cars, and as he got older continued to learn new things about the newer makes and models. During high school he decided he wanted to join the United States Army at the age of 17 shortly after the attack on the Twin Towers. It was there he continued to grow and continued his passion while defending his country. His brothers all called him a legend, and fought to have him on their team. He was very skilled and confident in his abilities. If he couldn't fix it there was always duck tape as he would say.
Following high school graduation in 2001. Casey joined the United States Army from 2002 to 2012. Upon completion of his military service, Casey started school at Texas Lutheran University and graduated with a B.B.A. in International Studies in 2015. Following his graduation from college, Casey began to look for his dream job at an embassy overseas somewhere, but there was always one more test he had to pass. He tried taking the test twice, but it kicked his butt twice. He was studying hard to take it the 3rd and final time. He was passionate about working at an embassy, he was not going to give up that dream. He was a very dedicated son, brother, husband, father. He wanted to give his girls a life of luxury and travels all over the world.
Casey and Krystal shared 12 years of marriage. They shared their mutual love of one another, their love of family and friends.
Throughout their marriage, they shared many interests, including traveling to many states together as a family, raising our daughters, doing storage wars, going on our lunch dates, or just spending quality time together while the girls were in school. We traveled every chance we got, even if it left us damn near broke. His mentality always was YOLO, money comes and goes, you have to enjoy life while you can, he would always find a way to make these trips possible. I will always cherish these memories we shared together. He never had the patience for fishing or too many outdoor activies unless it was cooler outside, but it never stopped him from enjoying life and doing everything in his power to please everyone.Casey was always surrounded by his family and shared so many adventures with each family member.
Casey cherished his mom, his brothers, his wife, his children, his aunts and uncles, his nieces and nephews, and many cousins – he loved us all and when we were with him, he made each of us feel most special. Casey celebrated deep friendships that lasted a lifetime, and he was certainly loved by his family and friends for his kind heart and generous spirit. Casey always maintained a positive attitude and focused on the welfare of others, including his clients and friends.
Casey was blessed with a brilliant mind, an enormous heart, and an adventurous spirit. He loved life. He loved his political debates that he mainly had with his brother Chris. He loved nature. He loved setting and achieving personal goals and believed in working hard and playing harder. He believed in celebrating every aspect of life despite all his struggles to get to his level of success. He knew he achieved what he strived for throughout his life, he never gave up when things got too hard he just kept pushing through no matter what.
His love for his family and friends will live long in our hearts and memories. Our family and friends cherish the triumph of a life well-lived, and a heart most-loved. We are confident in the wonderful promise of Jesus that one day we will be reunited and will move into an eternal celebration of our love for our Lord and for one another.
Our family will host a gathering of friends and family in San Antonio to celebrate Casey’s remarkable life and will share the date and details of the arrangements as soon as plans are completed.
