Caroline Renea Ford

Caroline Renea Ford, 64 of San Marcos, Texas died September 17, 2021. Memorial services will be held September 29, 2021, at 11AM under the direction of Legends Funeral Home with Dr. Fredrick Ford Officiating.

Caroline was born July 14, 1957, in Farmington, NM and was one of thirteen children. Caroline loved to sing and was always ready to perform on command. If there was an audience of one or more, that was enough. Caroline liked posing for pictures and dancing and had not one shy bone in her body. 

Although life wasn’t always easy, Caroline always found a way to rise above and give everything she had. She loved living and left a lasting impression on anyone she met. One just doesn’t forget Caroline Ford. That was evident when she recently moved from Desoto, Texas to San Marcos, Texas. In only three short weeks, she made new friends and made a huge positive impact on the staff and residents at Brookdale South Senior Living Center and they on her. She was affectionately called “Sweet Pea” and had truly reached one of the happiest points in her life. 

Caroline leaves to mourn two daughters, Francis Ford of Bryan, Texas and Zenobia Wilson, Mumford, Texas. One son, Tyrone Neal of Tennessee Colony, Texas. Four sisters, Linda Campbell of Dallas, Texas, Rhonda Butler of Kyle, Texas, Melody Edwards of Abilene, Texas, and Arleda McClintock of Kyle, Texas. Eight brothers, Larry Kelley of Desoto, Texas, Delbert “Neal” Ford of Dallas, Texas, Melvett Ford of Big Spring, Texas, Michael Ford of Austin, Texas, Carbert Newton of Lancaster, Texas, Blakely “Blake” Ford of Diboll, Texas, Raymond Ford of Big Spring, Texas and Jeff Ford of Kyle, Texas. Seven grandchildren, Jasmine “KiKi” McClintock, Barry “Zay” McClintock, , D’Mondjrise “DJ” Loya, Tychandrea “Tasha” Neal, Ataviah “Tata” Wilson, Keondris “KD” Wilson, Aliyah Wilson and a host of cousins, nephews, nieces, and special friends

She was preceded in death by her mother Frances “Mama Jean” Ford Stevenson and the love of her life, Marcus Paul “Dillon” Neal.
