Arthur Tomanetz Obituary

Arthur Randall Tomanetz, 47, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, April 26, 2022, at his home in Austin TX.  Randall was born and raised in or close to Austin except for a brief time when he left to attend college.  He said it didn’t count as leaving since it was still in Texas.

Randall began working for Culligan Water in September 1999, as a Commercial and Industrial Sales Professional, where he excelled.  He was one of their top sales professionals in the Nation, year after year.  He absolutely loved making the sale, but to him, the real reward of what he did were the friendships he made with his co-workers and clients.

Randall met his future wife, Jeannie, in March 1999 after they were introduced by Jeannie’s mother who was Randall’s pool playing side kick.  They married in 2006 and welcomed their daughter Riley in 2009.  From that moment on his “little girl” was the joy of his life, his BBQ cook-off helper, his country singing partner, his Cabela’s shopping buddy, and his 4-wheeling co-pilot.

Randall enjoyed so many things and always wanted to share his passions with others (y’all have gotten a country song or two).  He loved Nascar, barbequing, hunting, music, and playing pool.

Randall is survived by his wife, Jeannie, his daughter, Riley, his parents, Art (Buster) and Cheryl Tomanetz, his sister, Heather, cousins, family, and close friends.  He is preceded in death by his grandparents, his Uncle Garry Krueger, his Aunt Alyce Brady, and his mother-in-law, matchmaker, and friend, Marty Dunn.

Services will be held Monday, May 2nd, 2022 at 7:00pm at Legends Funeral Home.
