Our Beloved Albert “Bobby” Alonzo Sr. resident of San Marcos, Tx was called by our Heavenly

Father on Wednesday June 17th, 2020 at the age of 63. He was born in Fentress, Tx to Jose

Agustin Alonzo and Consuelo Cortez Alonzo on Jan 15 1957.

He was preceded in death by his Parents, His Brother Jose Antonio Alonzo, His Sister Maria De

Jesus Reyes of Kress, Tx, and Grandsons Avion Alonzo and Ajalon Alonzo.

He is survived by his Wife Bertha Ann Hernandez Alonzo of 45 years, His children Nita Marie

Alonzo, Albert and (Tyvonna Alonzo Jr.), Joshua Renee Hernandez and Angelica Faith Alonzo.

His Grandchildren Alexandria and (Scott Leal), John Michael Narvaiz Jr., Anyssa Narvaiz,

Ajavia Alonzo, Aven Alonzo, Aiden Alonzo and Isaiah Bailey. His Great grandchildren Aubrey

Leal and Bobby Leal, His Brother Agustine Alonzo, His Sisters Josephia Gonzales, Janie

Alvarez, Sister Frances Alonzo,OSF of Lubbock Tx, Margie Alvarez, Gloria Castillo, Delia

Mendoza, Celia Deleon of East Grand Forks Minnesota and Mary-Alice Garcia. As well as

numerous Nephews, Nieces and Cousins.

Born in Fentress Tx, Bobby was a very dedicated worker, working since the age of 15 leaving

Texas State with 17 years. He was an amazing talented person who loved everyone the same

there was no hatred in his heart. He always had a smile on his face and was known for making

people laugh. His idol was Carlos Santana. He had lots of love for music, he was a

percussionist who spread the love of music for over 50 years. Playing with bands which such

names as (Brown Sugar Express, Gilbert and David Espinosa Band, Groupo Alma, Los

Spacers, Nobody’s Bitness, Soul 2 Soul, David Ybarra and the LA Blues Band, Bobby Fuentes

y Los Flames, Ricky Lugo y Los Gallos, Ruben Ramos, Carlton Pride and Zion)

Due to Covid-19 certain rules still apply and masks are required. Visitation will begin at

6:00pm-8:00pm Wednesday July 1, 2020 with Recitation of Holy Rosary Held at 7:00pm at

Legends Tri-County Funeral Services 101 Centerpoint Rd San Marcos. Mass of Christian Burial

will be held at 10:00am Thursday July 2, 2020 at Saint John the Evangelist Catholic Church 624

E. Hopkins San Marcos, Interment will follow at the San Juan Cemetery in Reedville, Tx
