Shane Wohlers left us unexpectedly on March 17, 2024, joining his father and grandparents in God’s hands. We were blessed to have him in our lives during his 37 years on this earth.
Growing up in rural Texas, he developed a huge love for the outdoors. Whatever the event - tree trimming, deck building, planting, fishing, hunting, biking, or simply photographing nature – he was all in. Being outside, work or play, made him happy.
His sense of humor will be sorely missed, as will his smile, bear hugs, and unique view of the world. He saw things through his own lens and was sure to express it. His perspective also spoke in the drawing and woodworking he enjoyed doing. His heart was often bigger than himself and he never hesitated to help another in need.
He will be greatly missed by his family & friends. Shane is survived by his mother, Terri Seelinger; aunts and uncles: Larry Wohlers, Becky (Greg) Whorten, Debbie (Red) Klinedinst, Julie (Kelly) Sutton, Mario (Cindy) Castillo; cousins Melissa Izbrand, Valerie (Tim) Keith, Mark Sutton, David Sutton, Reed Whorten, and Jill Wohlers.
A Memorial Service is not planned at this time.
In lieu of flowers, we encourage donations to the Texas Parks & Wildlife Foundation at www.tpwf.org.
